If you recognize this place *** gold stars for you *** because it is fairly out of the way and mostly known by locals but for all of you not in on the secret, if you want a terrific lobster roll and an absolutely classic Cape ocean view, Sesuit Harbor Cafe in Dennis is your place.
Their website bills them as the most beautiful dining room in the world and I would have to agree that it is one of the most beautiful outdoor dining areas on the Cape for sure. It is simple and a bit old fashioned; you order at the counter and then find an empty space at shared picnic tables under umbrellas; choosing either an ocean or a harbor view, and they bring your meal to you on trays and it is cash only. The lobster roll is a bit pricy but worth it as it is one of the largest ones I have seen and easily shared. The cafe is in a working harbor on the north side of Dennis and one of the summer ticket boys will give you a ticket to park that they take off your windshield when you leave. It is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner until 8:30 so you could catch the sunset there as well. Enjoy!
